Alla Koren presently restricts her practice of the area of family law, representing both men and women in approximately equal proportions.
Alla Koren's practice of family law is unique in that she has the unusual advantage of having complete control of another language, Russian. As a result, her practice has expanded to representation of clients who reside in jurisdictions other than Ontario. For example, Alla Koren has numerous clients who reside in Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia and Estonia, as well as other countries.
As a result of the particular needs of Alla Koren's clients, which are typically unique, she has insight into the areas of family law that are not commonly known, understood or explored by other lawyers practicing in this area. Based on the needs of her clients, Alla Koren has had the opportunity of developing and expanding areas of family law that are poorly explored or understood by both lawyers and judges. She prides herself on this unique knowledge and approach to each case, as well as the ability to structure and pursue each client's case that suits the needs of that client in a most effective manner.
